Coal mines shape economic and social life in Zonguldak. Workers working in the coal mines that make up the city go 600 meters underground every day to earn their livelihood and face the danger of dents called "tasman". The workers, who come to the mine where they work early in the morning, don their work clothes and make their first preparations to bring the black diamond to the light of day. Bringing their equipment and personal protection with them, the workers start by entering the corridor lit by flashlights and helmet lights. The miners, who unearthed the black diamond, which is a national wealth thousands of meters below the ground, and brought it to the country's economy, are leaving the quarry with the excitement of completing their 8-hour shift.
