Just this feeling of never having enough time. Isn't time man made anyway?
It’s written all over my face. In this series of works I have used my face as my canvas. Journal writing and keeping a diary has been part of my life. It’s the place I confide all my secrets and vulnerabilities. As artists we use many techniques to tell a story. I chose to expose my naked truth, my message, my story by sharing my biggest challenge my battle with Intrusive thoughts. Like a fruit on a tree a human being may appear to be beautiful and happy but have worms eating away on the inside. These pieces represent the paradox of joy and sadness, wanting to share beauty and love and self loathing. These pieces are portray my daily struggle with mental health and my desire to be loved and respected and understood.
