While chasing my seagulls, one morning I discovered another place of my heart, a small rocky island just outside the port of Punta Ala, where there are a couple of coves where you can drop the anchor, and some rocks on which to lie down and sunbathe. Known among the local population as the island of Troy, it is the largest outcropping rock surrounded by other smaller rocks and therefore it is called the Troy with pigs (the smallest rocks). It is dominated by a medieval watchtower, in a state of neglect for many years now. The islet is also called The Rock Of The Sparrow Hawk. Colonies of seagulls nest there, in a noisy coming and going. The coves that interrupt it are accessible only by sea and are attractive to fishermen and divers for their rocky bottoms and the wealth of sea bream and bream.

This is a collection of 23 photographs taken around Italy between 2009 and 2010, minted in limited editions of 10.
My photos are shot in remote areas of the Mediterranean where the land has memories of millennia passed meeting the sea in bewitching silence broken only by the shrill cry of seagulls. It is a story about the simplicity and the beauty of nature that takes your breathe away. It encourages health, sustainability, and a natural lifestyle away from the chaos of polluted and noisy metropolises. Black and white was chosen to help me convey emotion and tell my journey between land and sea. I tell the story of what I felt from each scene before capturing it forever, photo after photo. To understand the order without creating confusion, i gave each of them a number, reading the description of each one in order will complete the story which unites these places.
