Mirror, mirror…
Look in the mirror, and for sure, you won’t find what you’re looking for.. there’s no competition behind mirrors.. because mirrors don’t show the traumas you went through, mirrors don’t show who hurt you yesterday, or who did you let come closer than allowed.. Mirrors don’t show what you heard before you had suicidal thoughts, mirrors can’t show who are you when nobody’s watching… when you are in an embryo pose alone in your bed, crying and asking the Universe to end that feeling you have inside you that keeps squeezing your guts.. but you know what mirrors can do? They can reflect the energy in your eyes, and if you look closely into your eyes, you might see your soul, sinking in the iced ocean of pain, drowning in the sorrow of humanity.. that’s slowly fading away before your own eyes. Mirrors can show you the smell that you carried since you were born, that changed when you felt what’s betrayal for the first time. Mirrors will show you the depth of your glance, where there’s no end to the horizon of questions without answers, love letters with no return address, anxiety without any reason… or maybe just too many reasons.. Mirrors can help you focus into your existence and appreciate your physical presence of the moment, the now, where you breathe, inhale and simply exhale, to be. Mirror, mirror… let me be.
