Something that Juni wonders a lot about is how to go about discovering new things; both from a physical sense as well as an emotional and mental sense. While walking along the beach Juni and Zing come across an ocean inlet and have a conversation on the shore.

"There's lots of things I want to find out. Especially about myself. I sometimes feel like I don't know myself as deeply as I should." -Juni

"Well people are scared to know more about themselves. And naturally so since we often hide things about ourselves that we don't like and push under the rug metaphorically speaking. It's a terrible thing to do, but that's just how a lot of people operate." -Zing

"What do you suggest humans do in order to find the courage to discover more about the deepest darkest secrets about themselves that they're scared to find?" -Juni

"Look at how there is an inlet from the shore to the ocean. The ocean is a terrifying place. There's so many unknowns. But through exploring the unknown we can discover many beautiful things. I think if humans were more willing to explore the unknown about themselves the world would be a better place." -Zing

"That sounds frightening..." -Juni

"It might be. But one can't discover new oceans unless they have the courage to lose sight of the shore." -Zing

Juni interpreted this as losing sight of one's ego. Disassociating oneself from their ego is something people are unwilling to do. However it's something that may be necessary to improve and become a better human being. Juni decided to start making a conscious effort to try and separate his ego from his sense of self in order to focus on learning deeper things about himself and hopes others find the courage to do the same.
