As I recall it was a very cold day and had been cold for a long, long time. The shot is from February 28, 2015. You will notice some strange things in the snow, among them two huge upside-down icicles. I'd broken them off the canales where meltwater is supposed to run off the roof and sometimes does. Call it spontaneous yard art. I just couldn't believe how big they were. If you could view that scene from the front door, you might be surprised to see the icicles arranged behind a carved stone fish from Michoacán. 4288 x 2848.

NEW MEXICO MY HEART collection image

New Mexico belongs to God and we just pass on through. As I once wrote, "The thing was though, they'd done it, the entire Taos murder trip, yet both of them were still together, healthy, and the love danced in her eyes." Kathy & I moved from Maryland to Taos County in 1999. The landing was a shock but we gave it all we had. New Mexico is never easy but stupendous. The story's in the photographs & their descriptions. JHFARR.ART is relevant. NFTs are 1/1s. - JHF
