“I have been loved,' she said, 'by something strange, and it has forgotten me.”
Djuna Barnes
Women Inside Me is a collection expressing many faces of femininity. The women of the past are inside us, shaping us, molding us. Like a ghost circulating in our body, the archetypes shape our behavior, attitude, identity through collective unconsciousness.
Femininity is the manifestation of a developing archetypal process deep inside of us. It is not static nor rigid. It is a dynamic process which is a clash of different emotions, moods, colors. Different expressions of womanhood, different energies are in a chaotic war in our subconsciousness. Identity is a never-ending transformation.
Women Inside Me is a body of work that represents the vague lines of identity. The modern woman we become today has thousand faces tattooed on her body & psyche. A woman is constantly under a transformation, that mostly she is not aware of. Following the traces of archetypes or sometimes revolting against them.
Beauty is a chaos that can never be reduced into a single perspective.
