The Enchanted Cottage

It was a dark and stormy night when I decided to take a stroll through the woods. I had been warned of a rambling red house with a bright door, but I thought it was just an urban legend. Little did I know that I was about to come face-to-face with a sinister force that would haunt me forever.

As I got closer to the house, I noticed something strange on the roof. It was a smiling grey monster with large ears sticking out. I froze in terror, unable to move. The monster seemed to be looking right at me, its eyes burning into my soul. I decided to try and make a run for it, but before I could take a step, the monster opened its mouth and uttered a deep, guttural growl. The sound was so loud that it shook the ground around me. I was petrified. I had no choice but to enter the house.

The inside of the house was dark and eerie. I could feel a chill coming from the walls as I cautiously made my way through. I could still hear the growling of the monster outside as I ventured deeper into the house. Suddenly, I heard a loud thud coming from the next room. I cautiously stepped inside and saw something that I wish I could un-see. I quickly ran out of the house, screaming in terror. Ever since that fateful night, I have been haunted by the image of the rambling red house and the smiling grey monster with large ears sticking out of the roof. I can still hear its growl in my nightmares…
