Being a former dentist, I had to… yes I had to…

Well, if you haven’t heard before, here’s the truth about me. I’m a former dentist. I worked for about 22 years as a dentist in Istanbul.

Unfortunately after having lost my sight in my left eye, I’m not able to do it anymore. So your teeth are safe and your walls are more full of art!

This is a very original piece for me. A blend of some geometric dentistry-related designs and african tribal patterns all together. It reflects the art of a 22-year part of me when I was practicing as a dentist.

Happy to have found a way to digitally express myself. You will find some poetry also, mostly in the form of haiku, accompanying my artwork.

After living 45 years of my life in beautiful Istanbul, I moved to another beauty Barcelona, making radical changes like quitting 22 years of dentistry and focusing on what I had always desired but somewhat hidden, art. I released couple singles and an album, making all the music, writing the lyrics and of course, singing, again all on digital equipment.

When the NFTs first came up, I set thinking, “am I too old to learn all these and get involved into it”… Yet the answer was right there in front of my eyes… I have always found away to step out of my comfort zone, willingly or unwillingly. So here I am. This is a completely free style digital drawings/paintings of mine. I hope you like what you see.
