Only the unfortunate gaze upon this monster, for to do so is a dangerous trap. Those who take once glance can be transfixed by its patchwork of constellations in a smoky red sky. Squiggles who gaze upon this abomination are forced to worship, forgoing food, water, and sleep. It is feared that death may attend its possession, for an entity that haunts the upper dream world is swift to pass into the lower. Those that know the way up must use great care, for steps are numerous and secret. Those without the requisite magical talent are apt to fall, getting hurt badly when their too-large hooves strike the rock-ribbed stone stairs. Thwarted descent is not advisable, for one feels the spell of the thing. If the way is too narrow or the steps too great, a rope ladder is employed; but never fall too far or the thing will rush in and eat one as it devours the other. Carter stumbled badly on that ladder, struck many times by the descending shapeless entity, and separated from his company at a steep drop. He had already begun to feel the sickish magic of the thing, for his hooves struck against the stone hard places, whilst his clothing was more than a little peculiar. He was not a farmer, but had travelled beyond the Squiggle cemetery and across the great barrier to many unpeopled regions.

The Ones who returned collection image

Once deities of great power, but cast into exile, the Legacy 0xmons appeared to be all but forgotten. A catastrophic event, of which little is known, cursed them and with a blinding flash of light their spell-craft was gone.

Wondering, lost and not able to grasp the misfortune that had been bestowed upon them they hemorrhaged their dark powers for days. This lasted until they could no longer maintain their form and slithered away into a dimension of delirium.

This ruptured the very essence of their being. Here some imploded, others vanished, whilst the ones that remained were altered beasts and unrecognisable from what they once were.

So as a last act of salvation for humanity, we must try to lure them back to the non-place they came from.
