I had been resisting getting into movie film because I knew it would be another rabbit hole to fall in. I already had 15 plus cameras and no room for them. But I scored a 1967 Canon 518 for $20 and I was instantly hooked by the sound of the film running through the camera. I had no idea if the camera was working properly but I took it to Baja on a week long surf trip. This edit and accompanying poetry, is an introspective look on my gratitude for life and being privileged enough to travel. Shot on Pro8mm Super 8 film, Baja California, Mexico, December 2019. Follow Your Daydreams is my genesis project of 35 1/1 NFTs that tell the story of my journey through film from 2016-2021. This project blends digital ownership with physical art and utility.
Owners will receive a coffee style "living" photo book that includes all of the images, descriptions of the images, and other details about the project.
