人と骸骨が踊る美術テーマ「死の舞踏」で描かれる骸骨は死の擬人化。

そこには、死の前ではすべての人は平等とのメッセージと、当時腐敗し、権力を欲しいままにしていた教会への皮肉が込められている。

死の平等性は、虐げられた人にとって救いですらあった暗黒時代。

そんな哀しみの歴史を胸に刻みつつ、命ある限り死と共に踊り続けます。
