The Seychelles is a collection of over 100 islands, approximately 1,000 miles of the east coast of Africa with tropical vegetation, beautiful beaches and a wide variety of wildlife.

Green day geckos are a diurnal subspecies of geckos typically found inhabiting trees and dwellings.

These day geckos feed on various insects and other invertebrates. They also like to lick soft, sweet fruit, pollen and nectar.

This day gecko can be seen feeding on the infamous coco de mer, a native palm commonly found in the Seychelles.
