Crystal sky reflections on Heart Lake, one of New York's classic views.
Colors of the North is a collection of 16 1/1 NFTs created over 3 years throughout the Northeast US. It is an exploration of how the colors of our forests adapt to a changing climate and how these changes can evoke a specific emotion or feeling within us.
This time of year brings a change of pace from the chaos of summer, to the serenity of winter. The colors remind us that another year is reaching its resolution. For me, this often brings feelings of the halcyon days of youth, untroubled by the stresses of our modern society, living in some of our freest times.
Over the past 3 seasons of fall, I've committed to capturing as much of this beautiful area as possible, spending weeks at a time exploring the far reaches of the Northeast hoping to find the fleeting autumnal conditions in their peak.
These 16 images are the results of that work and commitment.
