For some reason the kids don't like having the berries picked and thrown at them BUT absolutely LOVE to pick and throw them at ME. Most likely due to the fact that Dad doesn't miss when he throws, so it ends up being a barrage of berries to their dome. They yell pause or stop and wait for me to lower my guard, only to start throwing again. Tricksters.
Spend the better portion of the afternoon riding scooters and picking berries, and the vibe felt very early 90's, just like my childhood. Where we would toss our bikes on the lawn and just mess around and kill time outside. No screens, no distractions. Just vibing. It's healthy.
