Spent the day in the hot sun watching an incredible Civil War reenactment in Huntington Beach. The Historical Society had set up tents and a small village square where I walked the kids through. They had a chance to watch a leathersmith and blacksmith, and watch a few town drunks stumble out of the suedo saloon. Of course I did my best explaining what the heck was going on and that everything was fake! To my surprise when the cannon's blast, no tears were shed, but Coco did have a tight grip on my beard the whole time.
Everything felt so authentic, except the Costco hot dog.
“Diary of a Dad” is a candid daily snapshot of one family through the eyes of Dad. The collection aims to capture the challenges of raising 3 children under six years old, and the rewards of their unconditional love. For 150 days, 1 image is posted throughout Dad’s social media platforms and each image is a 1/1 NFT that is for purchase. 50% of the proceeds from “Diary of a Dad” will be donated to a Fatherhood focused charity that the group of collectors chooses.
Our journey begins on August 26th 2021 and ends on Jan 22nd 2022, for a collection of 150 moments in time.
