The size and power of the ocean makes me feel small in the grand scheme of things

For some reason its comforting to feel small.

Somehow it provides me with this knowing that I’m part of something larger than myself

The images of surfers are less about the sport itself but the meditative aspect and solitude that comes with being in a the creative flow state that surfing demands

I choose stormy days

I enjoy the mood and atmosphere but its also when the fearless ones come out.

There's something inspiring about that
