Venice is a unique project that allowed us to pursue a constraint-free poetic research behind the creative gesture. Designed in 2011 for Riva 1920, with the intention of reusing the famous disused "briccole" in the Venice lagoon, this console was born from the idea of giving new life to these wooden elements by mimicking the lagoon itself. We imagined the wooden pillars emerging from the water, crystallizing into a solid, smooth slab of polished metal. Now the briccole can exist forever in their reflection above the mirrored surface, frozen in time.
Claudio Bellini studio is a Milan based multidisciplinary design studio shaped by the harmony of beauty and efficiency, focuses on furniture, product and interior design since 1996. Claudio Bellini studio always looks to the future and innovation, and with its NFT series, it wants to explore the horizons of design, experimenting and imagining new scenarios, through the telling, with a new key, of some of is most iconic pieces.
Through this collection, CB_DESIGN_NFT imagines a new life for some of its most important and iconic design projects. And it does this through the processing of 3D images and video animations. These media give the possibility of translating a surreal story into images. A story that tells of a second life or a transmutation of one object into another, revealing it and enriching it with an unprecedented meaning.
