Name: Akhona Mqhayi

Many thought that Akhona Mqhayi had magic powers to see the future. They were very wrong. His only powers were a quick mind that was able to put together large amounts of data and extrapolate future possibilities from it. He also realized most who visited him just wanted to hear that the future would be good for them. If you came to him asking about your future spouse, he would assume that you are hoping and searching to find someone, and if that was the case, it was likely you would meet someone. He would then make some assumptions about the kind of mate you were looking for and “predict” that in a certain, but not exact, amount of time, you will find someone who is vaguely what you are looking for. This always worked for him, as a client would never be angry with him for telling them that they would find love.

After years of silly inquiries, he became bored and decided to attempt to predict the galaxy’s future. He traveled the galaxy to learn as much as he could about the current state of things. He learned much and, after crunching the numbers, came up with a startling prediction. A great war was coming, more severe than anything the galaxy had ever known. He wondered what he would do with this semi-scientific fortune when he received a summons from the collective on the capital planet Laruta for a meeting of the greatest witches and wizards in the galaxy.

He used his practiced talent of assumptions to figure out who these magical creatures would be. He was nearly certain magic was not real, as he’d never found any evidence in favor of it. He had heard lots about magic from his many interactions with the masses. He knew that many of them thought that his implementation of basic scientific principles was a magic power. He quickly realized that the “witches” and “wizards” of the galaxy were likely other misclassified scientists like himself. He figured that if anyone in the galaxy would have any idea of what to make of his war predictions, it would be them, so he left for Laruta immediately.
