Name: Manu Gensi
The year is 3100. Spaceheads long ago became interplanetary. They traveled the galaxy colonizing and terraforming planet after planet. But all is not well. With their common oppressor of humans long ago forgotten on the abandoned climate-changed earth, they began to turn against each other.
One prophet arose to speak of a chosen 100 who would be the force behind the galaxy's salvation.
The Spaceheads Saga is the story of that 100.
Manu Gensi is that prophet. Born on the rocky world of Amida, his tribe was wiped out in a conflict during the Uprising Factions period (year 3067-3091). He escaped an orphan and a slave when traveling merchants took the opportunity of a planetary assault to loot his ancestral home, taking Manu with them as part of their spoils.
He was a profitable slave as his prophetic wisdom made for a unique party trick. One day while rented out to perform for another indistinguishable noble family, his captors' karma caught up to them. They were taken by a different equally opportunity-seeking band of pirate merchants. He wandered the galaxy aimlessly, living off of alms, speaking wisdom when questioned, until it found him.
It told him what he already knew, that the galaxy was collapsing upon itself, then added something he did not know. There was a path to salvation, which would require a collection of beings it had selected, from all species and classes of galactic society, numbered precisely 100. Manu's task was clear, to search the galaxy for these 100, and awaken them to their destiny.
His task begins today.
