Hot Springs
Hot springs from the village called Chumathang, which was a 140 km ride from Leh city was my unplanned stop while travelling to Tso-Moriri. This ride was the most challenging because it had less mountain roads, rather filled with straight lines of roads between valleys. The main challenge was the wind that made the bike wobble and had to ride slow. One tip I got here was to ride early in the morning because the wind speed increases in the afternoon.

Himalayan Stars is a collection of 12 images of the Universe with earth as a foreground. Ubik started shooting the night sky in 2014, when he had no idea how to spot the milky-way. Its a technical process behind this beautiful art.
Home to 400 billion stars, our galaxy is a barred spiral that spans 100,000 light years in diameter. While that might seem huge, the Milky Way is only clearly visible from April through October in the northern hemisphere and is hidden below the horizon for half the year.
Some other factors which make this genre challenging are the weather conditions, light pollution and moon phase.
The process of finding the right composition for your shot and waiting for the right time is very meditative because of the silent night under the million stars.
The series of photos in the collection consist of some of the best shots taken over a period of 7 years. Every picture has been carefully curated and edited to bring out the best details possible.
