Everything is a reflection of reflection of a reflection...

The creator of this non-fungible token generated the said token by right-clicking an image that was the result of another Homo Sapien that began right-clicking 100,000 other images. In an arbitrary function of war, the creator has bested the original right-clicker in terms of optimized physical skill — some would say 100,000 times bested; others would say 100,000 times beaten.

Along with this ideological war, there were elements of compression and data error along the digital pathways and gates that we creators call "constraints". In the beginning, the genesis moment, there were depictions of cartoonish apes (or toadz, or cats, or lions...) that climaxed in a human construct called "value" in a currency called Ether. These files travelled as bits of data over a digital webbed automaton called The Internet, in which the concept of value for these images also traversed multiple perceptions of value itself. The impressions of the apes (or toadz, or cats, or lions...) were reduced to a single frame that encapsulated every single ape while simultaneously manipulating the perceived value to the point of zero.

Uselessness. The gestalt of the single image depicts the very act of "right-clicking", a call to ignorance, rebellion and war against the progress for new modes of value exploration, one of which we call non-fungible tokens. Value is one of the most ancient experiences among all living beings, and we are at the precipice of once again redefining the functions of value and its byproducts: currency, power, and survival.

Throughout humanity, like the reinvention(s) of the wheel, we are once again reinventing the social construct of value itself. This new instrument, one that crystallizes information, is called The Blockchain and it is the catalyst for modern innovation towards monetizing and democratizing data as we know it. The possibilities of this new medium may have unforeseen consequences. The artistic statements between the two sides of the conceptual war will continue to echo throughout the ages and reverberate upon the cosmic giggle that we call Earth. By the etymology of "art" and the Ancient Greek word for "artifact" or "arte factos", this token is a digital production of art itself.

Everything is an illusion, I wrote a script that scanned blockchain and downloaded all apes (or toadz, or cats, or lions...). My somewhat sophisticated script aligned the sources using RMS/Max Reprojection Error algorithm and gathered them into a huge 300-megapixel mosaic. It took several hours to adjust the colours and patterns.

When I first heard about a picture that will display a million copies of a single image, I decided that this is going to be my final project. After a week of work it almost crashed my computer - image resolution was over 300 megapixels. In the end, the picture was uploaded to the blockchain and since then it has been viewed over 100 million billion times.
