The future of commuting to work might look very different in a post-pandemic world. According to a new survey most Canadians want their commute to be less than 15 minutes. They want to work in a hybrid model – splitting their time working remotely and in the workplace – or full-time at their workplace if their commute is less than 15 minutes. The past year has transformed the way organizations operate, with many employers realizing that a workforce can be highly engaged and productive while using a hybrid model of working. As a shutterbug is amazing to see so many cars on the road driving in unison, but getting stuck in traffic is another thing all together.
"416 Connecting’’ is a collection of 25 1/1 NFT images that I have compiled in multiple years of photography from the city that I now call home, Toronto. As a little boy growing up in the former eastern European block, the only way to have conversations with my older sister, who was living in Toronto at the time, was to go to the post office and make a collect call to Canada. I had to sit in the waiting room for the operator to make the connection and then yell my name or just say ‘’ Toronto connected ‘’. I always wanted to talk for hours but it wasn’t possible. Our conversations were short but enough to make me want to move here one day. Years later I made Toronto my home and I can not be happier. This collection is dedicated to everyone who called this city home at one point in their life.
