Artist: Ratnadwip Saha

Medium: Photography

Edition: 7/7

It was Meghalaya, a serene mystic land in Northeast India. A foggy dawn of August, everything was in haze but beauty was at its prime. Philosophically speaking, sometimes I believe, if we are amidst the haze and our vision is impeded, our inner voice speaks to us. Something like a "personal calling".

And this shot is such a personal calling for me. It was back in 2019 that I felt I will dive deep in this genre and make photography a journey of my life.

The blue fog reminds me of all the imposed poison I inhaled over years from various people and situations but by the end of the foggy moor, I knew there will await a bright beam of light and I will find myself again.

"Editions by Ratnadwip" is a long term project for me that will continue featuring some of my favourite images I feel to bring up in editions. And in order to maintain the dignity, authenticity and rarity of my art, with full conviction, I assure that none of the images coming in editions are ever going to be released in the blockchain in any other format, may it be a 1/1, or composite or anything else.
