‘Eyes do speak’ - no I am not romantic, but I believe my photographs support the poetic dispassion often. This humble stranger who allowed me this snap had this mystery in his eyes I can’t discern even to this day. At times I wonder what it was about him! What was that? It was as if I knew it, we all know it yet can’t make sense of it. An undeniable urge to know yet not comprehend! Psychology calls it ‘denial’. May be that’s it. We all are in some kind of denial in our life. And so was he (well perhaps). Presenting “Denial - an Eye” from the collection "PORTRAITS FROM THE STREETS".
Image specification: 5568 x 3712

About the Collection: Streets are not just by-lanes and quadrangles. A Street is a life in itself - rattling so many stories that it’s almost deafening. Not everyone hears those, not everyone has got an eye for it as well, but those who does, never could get over that. In silences and in bustles, in alleys to skyscrapers, streets are munificently baring themselves out for people like us to unfold their mystery. The more you excavate, the finer it gets. An amateur exploration, trying to capture some of the mysteries that I was offered on the streets I travelled. Capturing people has always been a hobby to me but now as I read their stories, it all makes much more sense. Presenting some of my all time favourite candid photographs for you to explore - "PORTRAITS FROM THE STREETS".
