Jeonghu Jang is known for the exhibition at Saatchi galleries in the UK in abroad. He represents his enlightenment of life through figurative art or abstractions on aluminum iron plates. It is a kind of ‘spiritual training’ to complete his artworks by painting and scratching[sharpening] on aluminum iron plates. Also, he uses geometric patterns as a formative language and he expresses the emotions like anguish, conflict, and intense desire for ideals. The light is very intense when he scratches the iron plate, whereas, it is delicate when we look at the finished works. It is connected to the contrast with the strong desire for the goal and the practice of self-emptiness to reach the true ideal.
