STORY OF HOPE: It is believed that in a war, Lord Brahma tried to kill the demon with a lotus flower, whose petals drifted down to earth and were spread in three areas around Pushkar where the lakes were created. Following the legends, Pushkar is one of the holiest towns in India. According to history all 330 million gods and goddesses of Hindu religion come to Pushkar Lake on full moon night and sanctify the pious. As a result, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims congregate for holy bath at the Pushkar Lake.

I came across this warmest hug in Pushkar streets. I believe making portraits is a two way an exchange. You usually get their attention, get an eye contact, and make conversation with them. Sometimes this communication tends a silent one that is often short on words and long eye contact. I was wandering in streets of Pushkar when I caught this beautiful moment of a mother and her child. I couldn’t make any contact and I just took the shot. Whenever I look at this photo closeness and innocence affect me too much.

U N T I T L E D P O R T R A I T S BLACK collection image

The best portraits tell a little about the photographer, not just the person you're shooting. I have been in search of the “perfect portrait” for many years. For a portrait photographer this is not easy, it means long hours, days, years even kilometers.

I saw hope, sadness, hardness, intimacy, sincerity, a wisdom on people’s faces but sometimes embarrassment while I was wandering in the streets around the world. In photograph, it is difficult to reflect the essence of what you see, but there is always much more that is felt. I tried to convey many special faces that my path crossed in my photographs. In this collection, I gathered most impressive faces which I came across while I was searching for the perfect portraits.

After each sold photograph, one more will be minted, and the collection will end in 20. Photos are only 1/1
