Will there even be a future?

I am now in an endless loop of thoughts that this day could be the last. In general, for all people.

My generation will either be building a wonderful new world, full of new technology and safe in every way. Or it will turn out to be the last generation at all.

Gloomy? I think about it every day.

About my responsibility for the future. About what kind of world I'll leave behind. All fire and chaos? God, I hope not.

I will try my best to believe in our bright future, a future without wars and violent deaths. I will believe in happiness for everyone, for every human being.
