Simferopol is the largest city in Crimea, which has been occupied and annexed by Russia since 2014. A significant part of the Crimean population are Crimean Tatars. They have lived next to Ukrainians for centuries. In the 1940s, the USSR forcibly deported Tatars from the Crimea to remote areas. Only after the return of Ukraine's independence in the 1990s their descendants were able to return. Now russians are again oppressuring Tatars in the Crimea, depriving their right to protest, imprisoning activists.
We believe
In Ukraine, we believe in our victory. This Easter we believe that life will again conquer death. Our country will be free and we will restore every square meter that Russia has destroyed.
Fundraising
The enemy destroys our churches, museums, theaters, unique art collections and cultural objects. But it is impossible to destroy our belief, our culture, our identity. We have created pieces of NFT-art — painted Easter eggs with authentic ornaments. Every coin from these NFTs will go to the Fund to support and recover gems of Ukrainian culture.
The NFTs
The traditional painted Easter eggs in Ukraine are called "pysanka". Each region has its own sacral ornament and symbols drawn on pysankas. Communication agency Postmen has created more than 20 pysankas that represent different cities and regions of Ukraine. The rarity of NFT (quantity available for sale) depends on the level of destruction of the city.
