Raw materials harvested from large hundred-year-old trees in the village of Manno, Menghai County, have been aged since 2020. And already in the spring of 2022, it was successfully pressed into a 200-gram pancake «Cheerful Panda No. 3».
Fermentation took place according to the author's technology of our tea engineer in small piles of 200 kg for two months. Such a gentle fermentation mode allows you to achieve an interesting sound in the taste and aroma of the final tea.
By the way, about organoleptics. The aroma of an awakened leaf greets you with dried fruit nuances. Here and prunes, and royal dried apricots, and distant creamy notes. The taste is clearly traced bitter chocolate, creaminess, woodiness. Over time, Panda will come into even greater balance, so it makes sense to take one pancake for a drink, and the second for a collection for aging.
Can be brewed gently, can be brewed into oil. In any case, it remains drinkable and dense.
