“An ode to the Coast” is my tribute to the stretch of coastline along Central California that changed my life forever. When Covid struck the world, I was 12 and lonely and struggling to find myself. In Middle School I pretended to be someone else, and I was always trying my hardest to fit in and be popular. Then, as the world slowed down, I discovered photography. My dad is a photographer, and he taught me everything he knew. Once a week we would get up before dawn, drive out to our local estuary, and explore with cameras. Now I am 14 years old and I have found my passion. My dad and I go out and shoot several days a week, and we have grown much closer because of it. I love this artform dearly and I can’t imagine life without it. I want nothing more than to spend my life taking photos, and by investing in my art you are investing in me and my future. I hope that this collection will inspire you to find your passion, learn to love nature, and express yourself through art. Thank you
