nftyskateboards NFT#032 - TELUM "FFDS"
I dare to say this is one of the most infamous german board designs ever! The story behind it is even more legend and not everybody may know.
Many years back, Alex Funk, a german skateboard legend aka @Teluminator or Papa Telum was deeply into street art and creating all sorts of stickers. You literally couldn't walk or skate with him without stopping on the next traffic light to put a sticker on it! Great Memories to that time! After a dispute with a german cable guy, up for charging some money for watching odd goverment television, Alex was proud to purely use his TV to watch skatevideos from there on. It happened that this attitude developed a saying in our circle of friends which was that "ah get along TV just fucks your soul" (This is was "Fernsehen fickt Deine Seele" actually means for all non German speakers) Being a streetart guy anyway Alex put the slogan on a Sticker, it went viral and somehow became kind of a cult to have that sticker on your TV. Even a policeman was asking for it, it's a true story! When we started Telum back in the days it was clear this is going to be one of our first design and i still think it was a smart move, cause it granted a great awareness to Telum by the people already being Fans of the Sticker anyway. Looking back and till today, this was the most requested board ever made by Telum. As it was only available back then, this is real collectors gem!
