SHOCKED - by Dave Markel 3 Editions Total Held by two rockstars and their washed up manager. I have loved storms for as long as I can remember. As a little kid I would sneak out of bed to watch the thunderstorms through the window in the back door. Over the years I have been drawn out during a storm to try and get a photo. I would snap what I could before getting pummelled but it was enough to fuel the desire to have a well planned shoot. This storm rolled through the area with fiery but no rain, which is terrible for fires, but ideal for taking storm photos. I ran a series of shots with the camera on interval mode and captured many fine bolts while I was cowering in the vehicle because there were bolts hitting all over the peak. It is incredibly satisfying to make a plan, do your best to execute it and see the work pay off in such an incredible way.
