Query a search engine, and more information than any library could ever store rushes under oceans and through the air to your fingertips, faster than you blink.

We are now a species for whom even the smallest, most banal actions, trigger planetary scale consequences, so vast that they ironically fall below our threshold of perception and become invisible. In physiology, the point at which sense-perception ceases is called a limen.
