As a mandala artist, I've always known to express myself through geometric lines and shapes. This piece takes you back to how I started, by simply drawing lines and quadrilaterals on innumerable sheets of paper which would end up looking like a beautiful symmetry a.k.a. mandala.
This mandala signifies that various external factors in our lives may continue to change (like the stippling dots transitioning in the video), but as individuals we will remain constant with ourselves.
With this artwork, I hope for you to find your inspiration and choose to express yourself through your best medium. However, if you find yourself struggling then start drawing some lines and shapes, you will find your meditative center.
Mandala comes from the Sanskrit word 'Mandal' which means circle. Externally, a mandala is a visual representation of the universe in the form of geometric patterns & designs. Internally, it is used as a guide for meditative practices that take place in Asian traditions.
While you proceed to the center of a mandala, you go through a cosmic process of transforming the universe from one of suffering into one of joy & happiness.
Bringing this therapeutic form of art to the world, feel free to use it as you like in any form of background to embrace its healing properties.
