India is known for its varied festivals which brings around a myriad of colors in the form of food, clothes and decorations. This artwork is inspired from my culture.
There are 22 languages spoken all over India with several customs coming together to form one country, to form harmony. Mandala as an art form is also deeply embedded in the traditions followed all over India. The bright palette has been chosen keeping in mind the beauty that lies in every part of our nation.
There is harmony in unity.
Mandala comes from the Sanskrit word 'Mandal' which means circle. Externally, a mandala is a visual representation of the universe in the form of geometric patterns & designs. Internally, it is used as a guide for meditative practices that take place in Asian traditions.
While you proceed to the center of a mandala, you go through a cosmic process of transforming the universe from one of suffering into one of joy & happiness.
Bringing this therapeutic form of art to the world, feel free to use it as you like in any form of background to embrace its healing properties.
