Commemorative NFTNYC2022 NFT from my experience. The basis for this artwork was created on the night of June 22, 2022 in NYC. I was a part of a group of artists who set off on foot from 39 Wooster St walking to “the next NFT event.” I still don’t know what that event was. We reached several destinations right after they had closed and had many epic adventures along the way. On one such adventure the merry gang encountered a huge piece of landscape art that was printed on cardboard and had been stripped from its frame and leaned against a huge pile of trash. Slightly damp from a light rain, it was a challenge to paint on, but large enough for us all to have space to contribute. We were up to the challenge! I handed out my Molotow markers and we sang as we worked. The above piece started out as a document of my contribution to the sidewalk piece, but the photo needed some reviving due to poor lighting and my questionable line work. I hope you like the digitally enhanced final execution of that idea.
