#Episode8 Once upon a time, there was a monkey who used a mysterious technique.
To test his skills, he would travel around the world and challenge anyone he saw who was strong enough to challenge him to a fight.
He never lost a fight.
But he could not win against hunger.
As he traveled eastward toward the light, he noticed that a crab was dead.
He reached out his hand to eat it and offer it as an offering.
I was so hungry that I reached out my hand to eat it and offer it as a sacrifice.
It was the son of a dead crab.
Hungry and powerless, Monkey was easily captured by the crab and his friends.
No one notices the real culprit lurking in the shadows.
The monkey, strapped into restraints to prevent him from resisting, went to sleep.
The next time he woke up, he saw the peach boys who had also been captured and some delicious looking dumplings.
Monkey spoke to them.
"Do you want to get out of here?　Give me one of your dumplings and I'll let you out.
The monkey, who was unable to help himself, confidently replied to the peach boy's question....
This is a prequel to the story of a monkey who travels far to the west with a Buddhist priest.

#第8話 　あるところに、摩訶不思議な術を使う猿がいました。
猿は自らの腕っぷしを試すため、諸国を漫遊して強い奴を見れば勝負を挑んでいました。
喧嘩で負けたことはありません。
けれど、空腹には勝てませんでした。
光の差す方へ、東へ東へ旅をしていた時、一匹の蟹が死んでいることに気付きました。
死んでいるのなら食べて供養してやろうと手を伸ばしたその時です。
「お前が父さんを殺ったのか？」
それは死んだ蟹の息子でした。
お腹が空いて力が出ない猿は、蟹とその仲間たちによっていとも簡単に捕まってしまうのでした。
物陰に潜む真犯人には誰も気付きません。
抵抗されないよう、拘束具をつけられた猿はそのまま眠りにつきました。
次に目が覚めた時、猿の目に入ったのは、同じく捕まった桃の少年たちと美味しそうな団子でした。
猿は彼らに話しかけました。
「ここから出たいか？　きびだんご、ひとつ俺様にくれたら出してやる」
手も足も出ない状態で自信満々に言ってのける猿に桃の少年が出した答えは──。
これは、法師と共にはるか西へと旅をする一匹の猿の前日譚。
