This collection is the result of my journey as an architecture student over the past five years.
'Praising shadows' is a collection which illustrates how fundamental shadows and darkness are to enhancing beauty. In a dark room, a slit of light is the protagonist. Combined with this, geometric compositions play a very important role in this collection. In every photograph, I am inspired by the aesthetic contrast between architecture and nature, as much as, the minimal shapes that are caused by their interactions.
I hope my work inspires you to look twice at the ordinary!
