Lake Tuz has turned pink for a while. A kind of algae called Dunaliella salina gives the lake this color. This really makes a surreal impression. On the edge of the lake there is an old fountain where the shepherds occasionally bring their herds during the day. Then they go back to grazing again. I was lucky to get a photo of this shepherd bringing his herd here.

Colours Of Lake Tuz collection image

Edition : 1/1 Global warming is the greatest danger the world has ever been facing. Compared to 50 years ago, only 2 percent of the water is in Lake Tuz today. It barely reaches 30 percent in the winter season.Living in one of the most beautiful places in this world requires taking responsibility The lake must be urgently protected. We must consider our future, not only the moment we live in. We have to—we must—save Lake Tuz This collection consists of photographs taken at different times and from different parts of the Lake Tuz.
The moments when the Lake Tuz turns pink are very exceptional and special moments. What gives the Lake Tuz its pink color is a kind of seaweed called "dunaliella salina", one thousandth the size of a pinnacle.
