I photographed this elderly couple in Muğla/Çomakdağ village. I was on a photography trip with a group of friends in 2016 and we were walking around the wonderful people and the colorful streets, the old woman watching out the window caught my attention and I realized that there was a deep story on her face, and this made me very emotional.

We wanted to be a guest in his house and knocked on his door, he was very happy to see us. Inside the house, there were memories, old and beautiful items in every corner. Two people lived in the two-room house and because we were very tired, he offered us a cold ayran. When we came in, there was a bedridden old man, paralyzed by his illness, lying by the window. He and his wife were connected by the bond of love on the first day. I wanted to take a picture together as a souvenir, the woman held the man's hand tightly and looked so deeply into his eyes that she was afraid of losing the man soon.

This life does not pass without love and affection. As long as there is compassion and love in this life, you will not be alone, love is very valuable. Hug the people you love, they may not be with you in a minute...

May Allah grant everyone a spouse who can hold his hand until the last moment with the love of the first day.
