“Peep Show” captures an ongoing series of famed burlesques by DAGNINI that the artist continuously performs at various public and private institutions. The very first performance was done in 2017, and the Peep Show was performed at Moscow International Biennale for Young Art in 2020. Highly erotic and at the same time profoundly comical, these feasts are DAGNINI’s signature dents on traditional societal values, a deeply disruptive satirical acts by a renegade artist.

DAGNINI enacted “Performance Regarding Venice Issue” at The State Hermitage Museum in 2019 during an academic roundtable dedicated to 58th Venice Biennale. Comically emulating Golden Lion, the main prize of the renowned institution, DAGNINI rushes into the Museum’s atrium. The creature was then transferred to the Kabakov Hall, named after Russia’s eminent conceptual artist. The living sculpture was then placed on the pedestal surrounded by fake Louis Vuitton bags.
