Liliana Gálvez Heras (Mexico City, 1981) takes advantage every year that the arrival of the hurricane season in Mexico gives artists the opportunity to discover landscapes, climatologies and luminous effects that do not occur during the rest of the year. In this painting the white light of the tropical sky of Mexico City merges with the silhouettes of the buildings, the pavement, vehicles and trees as in a palette of paintings in which the colors are mixed, here reality seems to become liquid in the mixture of the palette of the wet windshield to offer the viewer a view of an unreal world, a magical fluid that arrays the shapes and colors, as suggesting that the reality we perceive is not so true, it is a fleeting reality like dreams. "11’00 hrs" belongs to a collection of oil on wood photographs entitled "It's hurricane season".
