“Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night”

-William Blake

This Royal Bengal tiger was my first big cat sighting ever in the wild. The whole experience was phenomenal!!!

I photographed this individual during my last family trip since the COVID-19 pandemic. We drove all the way to Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan, during Diwali in the November of 2018. I had gone to a few tiger reserves before this but never had I ever spotted a tiger in the wild. We booked 4 seats in the cantor, hopes high, wishing to finally spot the national animal this time. To our surprise, only 10 minutes into the safari, we spot not one, not two, but threee Bengal tigers. Photographing them was like a dream come true!!!

La nature en monochrome collection image

‘La nature en monochrome’ is a collection of 9 1/1 dramatic BnW wildlife photographs that I’ve captured during my last 4 years interning and volunteering at various institutes dedicated to conservation biology and research in India.

It is extremely crucial to understand the necessity of wildlife conservation before our community runs out of time, as each species plays a very vital role to maintain the ecological balance on Earth. One of the many means to stimulate people’s senses towards conservation biology is through combining both the visual and the psychological elements, which can be achieved through wildlife photography.

With each passing year, with each new destination, with each new photograph I took, I became more and more resolved to make humans conscious towards conservation biology through my photography, where, each and every species is equally represented.

I would be delighted to provide physical frames to all the first collectors who would love to have them.
