The Creation of Adam is a work that stems from reflection on Time as a fluctuating and elusive dimension, which attracts and regurgitates the past at the very moment it projects the potential of the future: a black hole, perhaps, to which the human can only tend and approach, without ever being its master, and in which the specific densities of experience are constantly merging and blending. Time, which constantly governs us and occupies the perspective center of the image, takes on even more unpredictable aspects in today's conjuncture than in the past. Where a millennial culture is filtered and postponed by millions of screens and technological media, the contemporary reflects uncertain and changing semblances. The body itself, as the primary outpost of human identity, accesses a gateway of potential and multiple transformations, making it hybrid and ultimately posthuman. In this scenario, inhabited by man-machine and machine-man, time nevertheless remains eternally unknowable and ungovernable: subjected to every possible attempt at capture and reproduction from the Renaissance to the present, it has done nothing but continue to multiply the refractions through which it propagates.
Technique: The artwork is a 3D model created on Cinema4D and then refined and finished on Photoshop and Illustrator
