These images from Nepal have been available as photographic prints for a little while (and still are), but I get excited every time I think of digging back into my archives and creating all manner of thematic collections in the near future...but this collection from my Nepal trip will always be my first NFT photography collection. I cant' WAIT to create my metaverse galleries.

NFTs #11-#20 will only be offered on OpenSea as NFTs without the limited edition photographic print, but you can certainly order an open edition print of these from my site if you like.

This collection is composed of both stand-alone pieces that display very well on their own, as well as good number of "context" photos that aren't technically or creatively exceptional, but they do offer a more complete representation of the experience I had Nepal.

In 2016 I was invited on a trip to Nepal to raft the Karnali river with an old friend who had previously done over 50 first-decents on rivers around the world. Wantok Adventures guided us on two week trip that took us through some of the sacred sites of Kathmandu (post-earthquake), Bardia National Wildlife preserve and down the Karnali river.

A perfect opportunity to create both landscape/nature/travel images, as well as come more photo journalistic ones as well. Please do enjoy :)

The original intent of this collection is captured in the below (original) text. I will re-release this collection on @Foundation as soon as I have the time. For now, I'm just maintaining and curating my first footsteps into this beautiful new madness until I that point...

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

these are portraits of both the people of nepal, and nepal itself.

so how does one capture/create portrait of a place? take a look and see, but as with all artistic efforts - the experience rendered is a result of a communication between the creator and the observer and, as such, will always be highly personal and subjective...
