Dreams really do come true when you let passion lead the way.
On this chase, the film crew from “Deadliest Catch” was on the road with us, filming “The Twister Sisters” for the Women’s Entertainment channel. How strange, and yet incredibly rewarding, it was to suddenly be the lead role in a reality TV Series. When I started my journey documenting storms my only goal was to capture the best photographs and video I could. I learned how to write html code so I could build a basic website in 2001 as a way to share my photos and journey with others. I never imaged I would be on TV one day. The filming of Twister Sisters was fun and full of adventure while also challenging and emotionally draining. This rainbow brought us all together in a moment of calm and unity after a few days of drama behind the scenes.
The most rewarding part about being a female lead role in a show about chasing storms was later learning how it helped empower and inspire other young women to follow their passion for weather and chasing. This is what I am truly grateful for and what brings me tears of joy. Follow your dreams and enjoy the journey!

I was born gazing into the hypnotic sky with a camera in my hands, ready to capture powerful art that only Mother Nature is capable of conjuring.
