Baao, Buhi, and Bato – collectively known as the Kumakamang – are the feared warlords of Ibalong. They are three of the 333 daughters of Oryol and Handiong - the former rulers of the region. After Oryol and Handiong passed away, jealousy and the thirst for power consumed their daughters, and they began murdering each other for dominion. Baao, Buhi, and Bato – the smartest, the strongest, and the luckiest – were the final three who survived the slaughter. Perfectly matched against one another, the three sisters battled for 32 grueling days but none emerged victorious. On the 33rd day, Baao, Buhi, and Bato amicably surrendered, and entered a truce to rule Ibalong together as the Kumakamang.
After joining forces, the Kumakamang discovered the extent of their strength and began setting their sights on the territories of other tribes. Honed in the art of warfare and subterfuge, the Kumakamang conquered all of their neighboring lands with ease. Their imperialist agenda was only halted when the forces of Kaluwalhatian formed an alliance with the Duwende Kingdom.
Now, the bloodthirsty machinations of the warlords of Ibalong have seemed to have ground to a halt. Some say that their power over own their territory is waning. Some say that the tenuous truce between the three sisters is beginning to fray. Others suggest something more sinister - that the Kumakamang have sided with the Yamato and are secretly setting the grounds for a foreign invasion of Sansinukob.
The Kumakamang were created in the Basilica by fusing Oryol and Kumakatok.
