The Minokawa is a giant bird from Negros folklore. Its beak and claws are made of steel, its eyes are made of mirrors, and each of its feathers is as sharp as a sword. This cosmic predator lives beyond the sky and is responsible for eclipses - for it has the ability to swallow both the moon and the sun. It is said that one day, the Minokawa will also devour the Earth.
