Lagtaw are tree-dwelling demons from Tausug folklore. Covered in scaly skin and possessing eyes that burn like fire, the Lagtaw hide in the knots of trees to ambush humans who are wandering alone in the forest. Some say that these demons only attack their prey physically, while others warn that the Lagtaw can actually enter the minds of their victims.
